Your primary responsibilities will involve editing minutes taken by our Minute Takers for a wide variety of customers and industries, and communicating feedback as necessary.If you’re a good fit for this role, you’ll be someone who’s conscientious, organized, and attentive to detail. You’ll be just as comfortable working with non-professional writers and delivering feedback as you are working independently. This is a 100% remote position.You must have previous experience as a professional editor to be considered for this position. Previous experience with minutes, condo boards/associations, or journalism will be an asset for this role, but is not mandatory. You should be comfortable using your own laptop or computer, and be able to upload .docx files.The Process * You find this job ad

  • Complete a mock “spot the errors” editing assessment based on our standards and style guides
  • Interview with our editorial & people managers to get to know you and learn more about our great team
  • Start training directly with our editorial manager at a rate of $18/hour

The PerksAt Minutes Solutions, flexibility and consistency come first. We always work with your availability and schedule in mind. On average, our editors can take on 10-20 hours of work per week, and progressively ramp up this number over time and after training as you become more comfortable with our standards and style.We offer competitive compensation. The starting rate during training is $20/hour. Training may last between 6-12 weeks, after which you will be eligible for a raise up to $25/hour, based on the quality of your edits and your experience.
