We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Job DescriptionAECOM is leading the Remediation Plan Design & Support Services for the Faro Mine Remediation Project (FMRP; the Project) and is seeking a team-oriented Community Liaison for part-time work on the Project. This position is based in Ross River, YT to support community outreach and engagement.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Assist the AECOM Faro Mine Remediation Team
- Promote celebration and visibility of Kaska Dena culture, traditions, and ways within the AECOM team.
- Assist with identifying and delivering community outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Attend Project meetings, as needed/directed, including producing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes and maintaining a communication log.
- Support coordination of AECOM attendance at local community events, and/or attend local community events on behalf of AECOM.
- Post notifications of AECOM and FMRP Design Team initiatives, employment, training, and contracting opportunities around the community, and support recruitment activities.
- Maintain up-to-date lists of family and mental health resources for local AECOM staff and contractors.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent +2 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of an administrative, or support role
- Ability to work in Ross River, the Town of Faro, and/or at the former Faro Mine Site
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
