The primary responsibilities of Exam Proctors are as follows:Distributing exam materials to students, collecting and sorting exams upon completionInvigilating exam sessions tracking time, and accommodating special requests (i.e. washroom visits);Ensuring academic integrity by strictly adhering to the school’s regulations, policies and procedures in relation to exams;Reporting any rule violations and/or unusual occurrences to the Head Proctor;Preparing completed exams for pick-up or delivery;Performing any ad hoc duties assigned.Position Parameters:Exam Proctors are required for the following training and exam dates:February 25th between 10 am – 12 pm (Training)February 26th – March 3, 2025April 28th – May 21, 2025June 3rd – June 14, 2025Proctors schedules are from approximately 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and/or 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. each day. In addition, Proctors are required to attend the training shift on February 25th, 2025.Candidate Profile:Exam Proctors are an integral part in providing support to Grade 8 – 12 students during their exams. Candidates should be:OCT certified, enrolled in a teacher’s education program, or have previous experience proctoring examsPossess sound judgment and strong communication (both verbal and written)Strong organizational, and monitoring skillsEnjoy working with Senior Middle School aged students and have sensitivity to test related anxietyMust exercise a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times, particularly with the handling of student and exam information.Target Hiring Range: $20 HourlyHow to Apply:Bring your vision, passion and creativity to Branksome Hall.
