Job description: We are gearing up for a busy live events and sports season at SaskTel Centre! To ensure the facility is in top-notch condition for each event, we are preparing to welcome a new group of dedicated Event Attendants to join our team. Training and orientation will begin at the start of January. Shifts will be available in January 2025. This is a casual position and shifts are determined by the event calendar. The hours may be evenings, weekends and overnights. There are some odd shifts that do take place during the day.Event Attendants assist with all aspects of facility conversions, event set up other event set up related duties. This includes general building and grounds maintenance, facility preparation, set up and take down as well as custodial duties and general support during the events.SaskTel Centre Event Attendants are pivotal in providing an overall experience to the community that we serve. The diligent response to varying work tasks will assist in the overall success of the event.The events we support are :

• Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse
• Blades Hockey
• Rattlers Basketball
• Concerts and other events

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public and other employees.
• Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.

Security Requirements:

• Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

• Grade 10 education.
• Three months’ related experience.

Hours Of Work:

• Shift work and weekend work are involved.
• Variable and subject to changes in operational requirements.
