  • Degree with a major in chemistry, hydrogeology, environmental or other related sciences, or engineering;
  • Experience in conducting technical research and analysis and comparing analysis to environmental standards or legislation; and

Assets

  • Experience with Yukon’s environmental regulatory processes and relevant legislation;
  • Experience in interpretation and application of regulations or policies related to solid waste management, special waste management and/or contaminated sites.
  • Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders with differing interests and mandates to achieve mutually-beneficial outcomes

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills;

Additional Information:Conditions of Employment: Valid Yukon Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent)Job Requirements:Occasional travel within the Yukon to remote locations in a variety of weather and field conditions.
