This position supports schools throughout Yukon with best instructional practices and curriculum and policy implementation. - Successful completion of six years of academic/professional training including possession of a Master’s Degree in Education
- At least 6 years of experience as a teacher, administrator or education consultant in a K- 12 school environment.
- Experience coaching, training, and mentoring school staff.
- Experience incorporating First Nations cultures and traditions in curriculum, policy development and classroom instruction.
- Experience developing curriculum is considered an asset.
- Experience with supporting K-12 Literacy development.
- Training in literacy development for primary grades is considered an asset.
