We work together with our ownership, communities, stakeholders and industry partners to strengthen Indigenous employee relationships.Job PurposeUnder general direction from the Production Manager, this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising a maintenance group as well as participating in all maintenance activities. This position ensures that the company operational policies and procedures provide an acceptable level of safety and that all work is completed in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and Standards.Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance, identify malfunctions, and replace parts.
- Remove, repair, inspect, install, and modify aircraft systems including integral conformal fuel tanks, and external tanks.
- Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment.
- Conduct functional tests of repaired components and systems.
- Adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems.
- Supervise and perform aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations.
- Supervise and perform aircraft and component inspections and interpret findings to determine adequacy of corrective actions.
- Supervise line technicians to complete line maintenance on company aircraft.
- Ensure aircraft maintenance is conducted in accordance with company standards and Transport Canada regulations.
- Liaise with flight crews with respect to serviceability of aircraft.
- Liaise with Dispatch to communicate serviceability and availability of aircraft.
- Always adhere to the Safety Management System (SMS) policy and ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications
- Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum three to five years’ progressive AME experience.
Skills, knowledge and abilities include:
- Minimum M1 Transport Canada AME License.
- Ability to hold and maintain a class 5 valid driver’s license,
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Sound problem solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.

- Majority of the work is completed in an indoor or outdoor hangar environment and on elevated workstations.
- Ability to work long, sometimes irregular hours.
