Specializing in high-quality product design and manufacturing, the company is recognized for its collaborative culture and commitment to continuous improvement.The Role:Reporting to the Credit Director, the Collections Specialist will manage B2B and commercial accounts, ensuring proper credit processes and risk management.Responsibilities include:– Handling account openings, collections, credit management, and insurance for the assigned portfolio
– Identifying and reporting at-risk accounts in a timely manner
– Ensuring credit policies are applied and followed
– Acting as the key contact for clients regarding credit matters
– Proposing action plans for disputed cases
– Collaborating closely with internal teams to foster a transparent, team-oriented culture
– Sending invoices and account statements to clients
– Processing credit notesWhat You Bring:– A DEP in accounting or a related field (experience in a manufacturing environment is ideal)
– 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of business credit and risk management
– Intermediate Excel skills
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
– Attention to detail and problem-solving mindsetLanguage Requirements: English
– Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
– Reasons for Language Requirement: Communication with clients, internal team collaboration, support operations in Ontario
