This role will start as soon as possible and run through May 2025.The successful candidate will oversee Co-Curricular Record (CCR) programming designed to support the personal, academic, social and developmental growth and success of Lambton College students. The incumbent will develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations to support a campus to community connection fostering engaged citizenship, community leadership, and civic engagement among Lambton’s current student community. Input, maintain and track all CCR activity with the myCareer system.Responsible for data entry, maintenance and reports within the myCareer system; the incumbent supports marketing and promotion of events, supports and services offered to students through Co-op and Career Services. Creates, maintains and updates promotion through Co-op and Career Services social media platforms.Specific Accountabilities:

  • Data input, maintenance and reporting within the myCareer system
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of student volunteer opportunities and the Co-Curricular Record database
  • Assists community agencies and college partners with developing positions and learning outcomes for the Co-curricular Record
  • Assesses Co-Curricular Record programming and reports results on a monthly basis
  • Maintenance of department website
  • Supports promotion of department events, supports and services on various social media platforms
  • Provides coordination support for department student/employer events

Qualifications:

  • At minimum a three-year diploma in a Business related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing advanced customer service
  • Strong technical skills – demonstrated experience working within a Microsoft Office environment
  • Experience planning and supporting events, project management, social media marketing would be considered an asset
