To learn more about CMH, please visit our website at .Job DescriptionSalary$25.353 – $27.488ScheduleDaysShift09:00 – 17:00 / 10:00 – 18:00Position Summary:As a key member of our Inpatient Rehabiliation unit, the Clerical Associate will support a variety of stakeholders including nurses and physicians. This role is responsible for a broad range of clerical functions including: order entry into Meditech, arranging transportation for patients, managing telephone calls, record keeping, photocopying and faxing. The Clerical Associate must maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).This position will work rotating shifts – days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Duties as per Job Fact Sheet.Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.Skills and Qualifications:

  • Medical Office Administration program certificate required
  • Medical Terminology certificate required
  • Current experience in a health care environment required
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) required
  • Excellent keyboarding skills and Microsoft office experience (Word, Excel) required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills essential
  • Previous experience with Meditech system modules including order entry, and admissions required
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
