- Experience implementing community based recreational or life skills programming.
- Experience working with children and youth both one-on-one and in a group setting.
- Experience working with children who have experienced trauma and/or knowledge of trauma informed practice would be an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications above may be equally considered.It may be helpful for you to reviewDesired knowledge, skills and suitabilityn, the following:
- Ability to provide quality services to children and youth;
- Strong understanding of effective intervention strategies for children and youth with behavioural challenges;
- Ability to work collaboratively to develop and implement support plans;
- Ability to facilitate land-based programing;
- Knowledge and understanding of diverse backgrounds, experiences and cultures; and
