This position will be specifically focused on expanding our online forklift parts division, Sourceline Material Handling. As the Business Development Representative, you will create and implement sales strategies to ensure Sourceline’s growth objectives are met.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs the Business Development Representative your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying new membership opportunities, calling prospective members, and securing their enrollment
• Creating and maintaining prospecting and lead reports
• Achieving weekly and monthly sales targets, including securing new members
• Recording customer information, interactions, and progress in the CRM
• Conducting introductions for new customer accounts and performing website tours and training
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of related business processes and best practices

Required Skills & QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• Previous sales or customer service experience
• Post-secondary education in business or a related field preferred
• A self-starter with a results-oriented attitude and the ability to work effectively independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel
• A strong work ethic and a high degree of professionalism

The base pay range for this role is: $22 to $25 per hour plus commission.This is a primarily remote role based in Kelowna, BC, with the expectation of occasional in-person meetings as needed.
