Job description: M30 Retail Services, Inc. is a Calgary-based forward-thinking merchandising company that is setting the standard as a best practices retail services option for retail companies across Canada.We are actively recruiting for one unique individual to fill the role of a Bilingual Assistant Site Supervisor, Canada-wide. The ideal candidate must be fluently bilingual, have retail experience, construction knowledge, and the ability to manage a team to the project, as well as the ability to spend extended periods of time away from home.Job Description

• Overseeing a renovation/store remodel project in a variety of retailers
• Supervising and training team members (up to 20 staff)
• Working closely with assigned project General Contractor (and various trades)
• Interpreting and understanding retail planograms and blueprints
• Building and installing wide variety of retail fixtures and displays
• Merchandising tasks including display setup, pricing, signage, etc.
• Follow client-provided instructions/phasing plan regarding project completion timelines
• Monitor and report team progress and performance
• Complete daily online reporting as required (including team timesheets)
• Travel as needed across the country for extended periods of time

Employment requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the following is required:

• Building/construction experience (must provide own tools)
• Retail merchandising experience, preferred hardware or department type store, including use of planograms/schematics
• Competent technology skills, Office, email
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Freedom and willingness to travel extensively across Canada
• Ability to work nights consistently
• Valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driving record
• Clean background check
• Required Safety Certifications: Fall Protection, Scissor Lift, WHMIS, Elevating Work Platforms
• Required PPE – CSA-approved safety footwear, Hard Hat, High visibility Vest, Work Gloves (provided at own cost)
• Language Requirement – English & French, written and spoken

Rate: $25/hour + vacation pay (out of city/province travel, if necessary, is covered by company)
Location: Winnipeg MB with future travel required anywhere across Canada
Start date: ASAP
Availability: NIGHTS – typical week is Sunday – Thursday 1030pm – 7am. Off Friday and Saturday nights.
