With opportunities for employee training and professional development the City of Prince George offers a safe and supportive workplace in which to serve our community.About The Opportunity:The focus of these positions is to provide lifeguarding functions, assist in the operation of an aquatic facility and respond to a variety of customer requests and concerns. The hours are flexible and varied involving morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.About Your Background:You have completed Grade 10 as well as current certificates and awards as follows:

• National Lifeguard Award – Pool Option
• Standard First Aid
• Within one year of hire: successfully obtain a Lifesaving Society Swim for Life certification.

Recruitment Timeline (Subject to change):Skills Testing: Thursday, November 28, 2024 (Canfor Leisure Pool 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)Interview dates to be determined.Online Orientation: Friday, January 3, 2025On Site Orientation: Saturday, January 4, 2025 (10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)Dates are subject to change.
