In this dual role, you will both actively sell funeral pre-planning services and provide leadership to our sales team across Saskatchewan (Saskatoon and Regina). The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal skills, sales acumen, and the ability to guide others with empathy and professionalism.ResponsibilitiesSales Management (50%)Support the Sr. Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed company targetsMonitor sales team performance and provide regular feedbackAnalyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growthAssist in setting individual and team sales goalsCollaborate with the management team to align sales objectives with company visionHandle escalated customer inquiries and concerns with sensitivity and professionalismDirect Selling (30%)Actively sell funeral pre-planning services to prospective clientsConduct presentations to explain the benefits of pre-planning to individuals and groupsBuild and maintain relationships with clients and community partnersMeet or exceed personal sales quotas and contribute to team goalsDocument client interactions and maintain accurate records in SalesforceTraining & Development (10%)Provide coaching and mentorship to sales representativesConduct regular training sessions on products, services, and sales techniquesCreate and implement training materials specific to funeral pre-planningIdentify individual strengths and areas for improvement among team membersFacilitate role-playing exercises and scenario-based learningRecruiting (10%)Assist in identifying and recruiting sales talentParticipate in the interview process for new sales representativesHelp develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidatesContribute to onboarding programs for new team membersPromote a positive team culture that supports retentionQualificationsRequiredAbility to complete the required provincial licensing3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in funeral services or related industries1+ years of leadership, training, or mentoring experienceStrong understanding of consultative sales approachesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to discuss sensitive topics with empathy and professionalismValid driver’s license and reliable transportationWillingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekendsTravel between markets will be required (30%)PreferredExperience in funeral services, insurance, or estate planningSales management backgroundKnowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics toolsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotasLicensed and/or Familiarity with regulations related to funeral services within the provincePay:$48,000.00 – $96,684.48 per year +Bonus payUncapped Commission payPostal Code: S4N 7B9Category (Portal Searching): SalesJob Location: CA-SK – Regina
