You will work in an innovative, creative and multidisciplinary environment focused on improving the quality of life of children and their families.With its committed and dedicated staff, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada has been helping children reach their full potential for over 100 years.Job Overview:Salary: $28.57$ à $47.39 per hour (35 h/w)Full-time permanent positionWe are currently looking for a Annual Giving Specialist to work with our team in the Office of Philanthropy.Reporting to the Director, Office of Philanthropy, the Annual Giving Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase participation and revenue from the hospital’s monthly giving program and annual giving campaigns. This role manages donor acquisition, retention, and growth initiatives while maintaining a donor-centric approach that aligns with the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional care to children. Responsibilities:Annual Giving Campaigns (60%):
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-channel annual giving campaigns, integrating direct mail, email, and social media appeals to maximize donor engagement and support.
- Create compelling campaign materials, including letters, e-campaigns, and social media content, in collaboration with the marketing team to develop impactful visuals and messaging that drive donor engagement and support.
- Develop and implement segmentation strategies to enhance donor engagement and campaign effectiveness, while tracking and reporting on key performance metrics such as donor retention, average gift size, and ROI.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the monthly giving program, including donor acquisition, retention, and personalized stewardship initiatives.
- Oversee program operations, including recruitment, gift processing, acknowledgment, and performance analysis, providing actionable insights to enhance results.
- Maintain the organization’s online donation platform.
Donor Stewardship (25%):
- Develop and implement donor recognition and stewardship initiatives, including personalized gift acknowledgments, donor appreciation events with the Fundraising Event Specialist, and tailored programs for monthly and annual donors.
- Coordinate the creation of an annual impact report showcasing the hospital’s achievements and the vital contributions of donors.
Data Management, Reporting, and Collaboration (15%):
- Maintain precise and up-to-date donor records in the fundraising database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for strategic decision-making.
- Leverage advanced data analytics to uncover key trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that drive donor engagement and enhance giving strategies.
- Provide regular, in-depth reports to the Director, Office of Philanthropy, showcasing key metrics and progress to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Actively participate in cross-departmental projects and initiatives, bringing a collaborative and results-driven mindset to enhance organizational goals and fundraising success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, marketing, communications, or a related field, or another bachelor’s degree with pertinent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on monthly and annual giving programs.
- Proficiency in donor management software and email marketing platforms.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging donor campaigns.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for donor events and campaigns.
- Hybrid work environment with occasional travel required for donor visits and events.
