Make a difference every day!Job DescriptionYour RoleThe Advanced Analyst role will be responsible to support and provide thought leadership to business continuity planning coordinators and leaders globally with a focus in the North American region. You will be providing consult when developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster response plans which, facilitate the recovery of the firms Important Business Services, critical assets, and processes in the event of a significant business disruption. Utilizing business continuity and operational resilience frameworks and methodology. Supporting Important Business Services Process Mapping, BIA’s, function level planning, recovery strategies, exercises and testing for assessment and measurement of risk mitigation and preparedness level.You will be responsible for:Governance and Reporting for Business Resilience ProgramsConducting business impact analysis (BIA’s) workshops defining critical time-sensitive functions and identification of required resources for business recoveryConducting Important Business Service Mapping and Impact Tolerance AssessmentSupport recovery team’s creation of business continuity plans and subsequent maintenance, auditing, testing, and trainingSupport the development and maintaining effective delivery of recovery strategies capabilitiesAssist with resolving business issues related to business function’s recovery planning and recovery plan development and enhancementsProvide support to management and business functional areas when business disruption occursSupport management and risk reporting as requiredAssist with medium complexity level project related work to support the department’s strategic objectivesWillingness to be on-call and travel as required by the roleThe experience you bring:3+ years’ experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Operational Risk areasProficient Knowledge of Operational Resilience Regulation is a plusStrong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior managersEntrepreneurial mindset and comfort working independently and driving own initiativesProficient skill level of MS Office suite including PowerPointExperience in Agile Methodology a plusExperience in Power BI a plusIntellectual agility – the ability to learn and act on new information quickly and efficientlyExperience in managing medium level projectsAnalytical thinking, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skillsProficient written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and training skillsPossesses attention to detail with excellent follow-throughAble to work under pressure with multiple deadlines, good time management skillsDegree level, equivalent qualification(s) or 3+ years’ work experienceBCI, DRII or relevant certifications are a plusThis role is providing a Total compensation (Base +Bonus) within the range of $65,000-$75,000 CAD which is dependent upon the selected candidate’s experience, skills and knowledge.Full Time / Part TimeFull timeWorker TypeEmployeeJob Exempt (Yes / No)NoWorkplace ModelAt Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
