Salary Range: $25.10 – $31.37 HourlyNasittuq provides Operations & Maintenance services for the North Warning System (NWS). The NWS is a joint Canada-United States early-warning radar system with 47 sites located in Northern Canada, a Control Centre and Support Centre in North Bay, ON, and a Contract Management Office in Ottawa, ON.Scope:The Site Administration Clerk is responsible for handling Logistics Support Site (LSS) communications, managing work orders, and providing administrative support to the LSS Manager.What You’ll Do:
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, faxes, emails, and work orders.
- Input data for time accounting, daily status reports, and work order management.
- Book travel, accommodations, and coordinate staff rotations.
- Maintain office supplies and organize transportation to/from the airstrip.
- Handle all site travel arrangements and maintain the visitor log.
- Provide general clerical support, including typing and word processing.
- Address third-party support individuals’ needs and serve as a point of contact for time accounting queries.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Who You Are:Education/Certification:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license (an asset, not required).
Experience:
- Previous administrative or clerical experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong keyboarding skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact tactfully with senior management and visitors.
