Applicants are encouraged to self-declare in their application.Position SummaryFunctioning as part of the coordinated service delivery team, the Outreach Worker works proactively with new and existing clients, offering a range of support and recovery services, within as existing service plan and on an as-needed basis. The Outreach Worker is a relationship-builder and advocate and provides services in a non-judgmental and culturally appropriate manner, helping clients to build new skills and achieve their goals.QualificationsEducation
Valid Drivers’ license and access to a reliable vehicleService Delivery Skills, Expertise and Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in community, preferably with the program’s target population
Experience providing outreach with hard to hard-to-reach populationsCritical Skills
Proven knowledge and ability in relationship-building, critical thinking, facilitation, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skillsFocus on Results
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve service goals and produce expected results/outcomesAlignment with Organizational Values
