We strive to promote and enhance the well-being of Yukoners through a continuum of quality, accessible and appropriate social services that eliminate inequalities and improve outcomes for all Yukoners.Your roleIncome Support Services (ISS) is looking for a motivated, passionate individual to work as a supervisor of finance/administrative workers and social workers providing case management services in a fast paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate needs to be collaborative, have sound conflict management skills and have knowledge of case management practices. Experience supervising is required, as is knowledge of the Income Support programs, including Social Assistance, Yukon Seniors Income Supplement, and Pioneer Utility Grant.   • Experience supervising in a social service-related position, including the oversight of staff, financial and administrative processes, program operations, and monitoring/evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of person-centered and culturally appropriate services, preferably in the context of legislated services
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across multiple stakeholders, and manage conflict
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing legislation, regulations, and policies/procedures for equitable service delivery, preferably in the context of income support programs
