Job title: Sanajiksanut – Wash Bay Attendant

Job description: The Wash Bay Attendant reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and works in close collaboration with his/her team members, as well as members of the other departments. The Wash Bay Attendant ensures goals and objectives are attained, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s company culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. The incumbent will support the Mobile Maintenance department by:
- Cleaning mobile and fix equipment’s;
- Clean and prepare components for shipping;
- Perform maintenance on wash bay system and equipment’s;
- Manage wastewater according to procedure;
- Perform minor mechanical tasks;
- Identify and label repairable components;
- Operate mobile equipment’s to move material;
- Manage waste material generated by maintenance department;
- Maintain a clean work areas at various maintenance shops;
- Keep maintenance department equipment’s clean and ordered;
- Do proper pre-operation checks;
- Transport of workers to various work sites.
Qualifications
- Work experience in a garage or maintenance shop is an asset;
- Valid driver’s license is an asset;
- Health & safety oriented;
- Willingness to learn;
- Experience working in a multicultural environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Position is reserved for Inuit candidates.
