We’re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care.The successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 each year until 2025 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement.Position OverviewUnder the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.Experience

  • Recent NICU experience preferred or Acute Care experience required (up to 2 years of experience may be preferred/required).

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

SUCCESSFUL SCHEDULE and COMPLETION and on-going renewal of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer required.Qualifications and Skills

  • Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French). **
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

**The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth conversations with patients and families. Language proficiency will be evaluated in order to assess the applicant’s proficiency level.
