We are a fast-growing organization, currently seeking a Project Manager to be a part of our high-achieving, diverse, innovating team.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager in Fredericton NB, or willing to immediately relocate to Fredericton, NB, that will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery on behalf of our clients.

This is a full-time, non-remote position based at our client’s site in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage resources and delivery of assigned projects.

Create and communicate detailed project plans and project milestones.

Prepare estimates and schedules to support projects.

Coordinate and manage project deliverables.

Track, monitor and communicate project progress against the project plan.

Manage project risks and assumptions.

Review project expenses, client invoices, and related accounting transactions.

Manage monthly life-cycle forecasting activities and identify risks and exposure.

Update schedule status, track variances and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure tasks are properly planned and executed.

Ensure that goods and services are delivered as expected.

Develop and present to internal and client regular project status reports;

Prepare and present to internal and client management the monthly project financial summaries.

Execute all phases of multiple projects from initiation to closure and ensure auditable. completion of all project deliverables.

Business case development as needed.

Manage monthly lifecycle reporting and forecasting activities.

Manage Dokainish project teams and serve as point of contact for clients.

Make recommendations to Dokainish senior leadership for sensible changes, adjustments, or upgrades to our internal work practices.

Perform other related duties as required or assigned by department heads

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of technical skills and experience)

PMP certification is an asset.

7+ years of related project experience with an IT, engineering, consulting, or professional services company.

Diverse experience in various sectors and industries.

Experience with multi-billion-dollar companies is an asset.

Superior working knowledge of MS tools, including MS Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel.

Skilled in risk assessment and risk management skills.

Competent in program management principles and techniques.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Strong advisory and presentation skills.

Strong leadership qualities and ability to act with business integrity.

Consulting experience is a plus.

Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills: able to manage competing priorities/deadlines, as well as the flexibility to adjust to changing operational needs.

High degree of social intelligence, integrity, and maturity.

Collaborative, resourceful, and self-motivated working style.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to think critically and evaluate situations and solve problems creatively with tact and good judgement.

Professional demeanor and ability to maintain strict standards of confidentiality.

Establish and maintain excellent customer relations with clients.

Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.

This is a full-time, on-site (non-remote) position, based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Must be based in Fredericton, NB or willing to immediately relocate.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
