About the Role: Join us as a Heavy Vehicle Technician, where you’ll be a motivated individual capable of adapting to changing priorities while ensuring safe and efficient operations. Reporting to the Transportation, Roads, and Grounds Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and servicing all vehicles and equipment for the Department of National Defense (DND), Nasittuq, and Government employee use.
What You Will Bring:

  • – Trade Certification acquired in Canada, Red Seal considered an asset.
  • – Certified Motor Vehicle Mechanic & Truck and Coach Technician (310S & 310T), including Diesel endorsement.
  • – 5+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment.
  • – Ability to operate vehicles containing hazardous materials.

Requirements:

Med Tech
  • – Eligible for RELIABILITY security clearance and pre-employment medical.
  • – Possess a valid passport for travel to CFS Alert, NU, including overnight stays in Thule, Greenland.
  • – Cross-cultural adaptability and a strong team player mindset are essential.
