Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: scheduling ultrasounds and consultations; coordination of appointments; registration of patient visits; retrieval, labeling and filing of patient records; responding to telephone inquires; Order Entry of lab specimens; and other administrative duties as requiredHours of WorkMonday-Friday; 7.0 hour per shiftYour Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Graduate from a recognized Office Administration Program preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset. Minimum six (6) months related administrative/secretarial experience preferred.
  • A combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered
  • Keyboarding skills minimum of 40 wpm required, 60 wpm is preferred (testing may be conducted on candidates)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs/technology (testing may be conducted on candidates)
  • Previous experience with Meditech and Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads required.
  • Ability to work in fast paced team environment, while meeting strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated excellent organization skills, strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills required.
  • Demonstrated initiative; self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision/direction required.
  • Demonstrated high regard for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail required.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to meet workload demands required.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive information required.
  • Demonstrated experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machine, photocopier) preferred.
  • Competency in other languages considered an asset.
