Your roleDo you have a passion for outdoor pursuits including camping, fishing, and hunting? Are you keen to assist others access these opportunities? Our ideal candidate is committed to exceptional client service, is a strong communicator and has good critical thinking skills. In this role, you would expand and apply your knowledge of wildlife related regulations while assisting the public to obtain licences, permits and government services.Field Operational Assistants review applications for licensure and permits of hunters, anglers, trappers, and campers. They provide information to promote awareness of individual legislative rights and responsibilities and provide administrative intake services for hunting related biological submissions. They also provide technical support (online/over phone) for clients using our online licencing platform.As the Field Operations Assistant you will provide administrative and case file support for district conservation officer, preparing documents, receiving complaints, and assisting with other duties as needed.We are seeking a personable and dedicated team member, who is well versed in administrative, licensing, and financial processes to keep the branch running smoothly and efficiently.   • Experience in office administration and providing public facing client service.
  • Experience handling financial transactions (debit/credit card, cash) and reconciling cash.
  • Experience performing client service duties in a regulatory, licensing and/or permitting environment.
  • Experience processing biological submissions.
