Job description: Company DescriptionA Member of Parliament is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Constituency Caseworker position.As a Constituency Caseworker in a diverse and urban community, you will manage and resolve issues on behalf of constituents by liaising with other federal government departments and services. Sessional Instructor - Department of Applied Human Sciences - Faculty of Science
  • Maintain the case management structure including file management and prioritization;
  • Advocate for constituents in need of support from federal government programs;
  • Understand current guidelines, legislation, and services offered by federal government programs;
  • Establish relationships with key contact points to resolve matters quickly and effectively;
  • Assist with the management of office and administrative tasks such as media presence, community events, processing mail and email etc.;
  • Attend events and meetings with or on behalf of the Member of Parliament and staff.


  • Post-secondary education from a recognized institution in political science, business administration or a related field or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience;
  • Significant experience in managing multiple, simultaneous activities or events in a fast-paced and fluid environment;
  • Experience working with a Member of Parliament or a political office;
  • Experience prioritizing and maintaining relationships with multiple clients by exhibiting strong attention to detail, adaptability, and analytical skills;
  • Significant experience working in an office setting with autonomy and professionalism;
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
