Job description: EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER, Haztech is expanding their services and they are looking for casual EMRs in the Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw area to join their team! Please note that all EMRs must be licensed or hold a restricted license and signed up to write the COPR.
POSITION SUMMARY Haztech has a number of Emergency Medical Responder Positions available. We are looking for full-time, part-time and casual EMR’s at our Regina, Saskatoon, and Moose Jaw Health Centres. This job includes a variety of occupational health testing, covid-19 testing ant patient transfer services. We also have a number on industrial work sites across Saskatchewan looking to be filled.
You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company while providing a safe and positive experience for the public. Prepare rooms and mobile treatment centre, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained. Develop relationships and rapport with all colleagues, customers, and clients. You will exercise independence, judgment and initiative by logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems that arise. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Completion of recognized emergency medical responder program & valid license in Saskatchewan
- Restricted EMRs welcome, but they are required to be registered for the next available COPR
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Valid class 4 driver’s license
- Professionally represent Haztech and provide exceptional service to all customers and clients
