Job description: Schedule: Part Time (Monday to Friday daytime)Location: 436 Thompson Drive, ManitobaCreate awesome experiences for our customersOur team and what we’ll accomplish togetherThe administrative associate provides a wide variety of administrative support to all departments within TELUS Health Care Centres – Thompson office as required. They are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the efficient day to day operations of a remote satellite office.What you’ll do

  • Provide reception duties at our front desk
  • Chart preparations- Daily as needed and prep for upcoming week on Fridays
  • Managing audiometric referrals to audiologists monthly
  • Answering and directing all phone calls
  • Ordering of all office supplies
  • Faxing/ mailing of office documents
  • Night letter distribution – daily
  • Manage all clinic appointment bookings/scheduling
  • Preparing of all charts for scheduled appointments
  • Program tracking and filing – daily
  • Managing schedules in electronic medical records program
  • Direct billing patient’s insurance company and collecting payments not paid by insurance
  • Finance day end balancing
  • Maintain client Termination files
  • Ensure cleanliness and order throughout the office
  • Duties and tasks are non-routine and performed under minimal supervision
  • Provide physiotherapy administrative support
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Create memos and inform clients of schedule as instructed by management

What you bring

Education and Prevention Coordinator (Elora, Ontario)
  • 1-2 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in the medical field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized, take initiative and prioritize workload
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Ability to work independently but also as an active member of our team
  • Able to handle a wide variety of projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Great-to-haves

  • Medical Secretary/Business Administration Diploma an asset
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
